How does iDEAL work?
Making a payment with iDEAL is very easy. Your customers do not have to provide their card details. They simply choose their bank and the system will validate the purchase in a few simple steps.

The user chooses the bank they wish to pay with and whether they wish to pay via the banking application or the bank´s iDEAL page.
Payment received
After entering a secure activation code, the payment is confirmed to both parties.
Is iDEAL secure as a payment method?
iDEAL is an online payment system that avoids the need to use credit cards. Instead of entering card information, the user is taken to their bank´s website or application where, after entering their credentials, they will directly transfer the money for the purchase.
Payments managed through iDEAL are supported by mobile banking and are therefore as secure as paying directly from any of the banks that support this payment method.
Also, the payment with iDEAL is always assured for the retailer. As it is a transfer, it is non-refundable and is settled instantly.
