If you receive an email, SMS or any other message on behalf of PAYCOMET that you are unsure of, we recommend the following:
- Do not provide sensitive data such as login credentials, card information or authentication codes. PAYCOMET will never request this information by email or SMS.
- Verify the sender and check that it comes from an official PAYCOMET domain. If the message contains grammatical errors, suspicious links or unusual requests, it could be a fraud attempt.
- Do not click on links or download attachments if you are unsure the message is real.
- PAYCOMET can’t provide support on behalf of merchants who use our services to accept online payments. If you have any questions regarding a payment, you should contact the merchant where you made the purchase directly.
If you believe you have been a victim of phishing or fraud, we also recommend that you contact your bank for assistance.
