What should I do if I receive a suspicious message from PAYCOMET?

This post is also available in: ES

If you receive an email, SMS or any other message on behalf of PAYCOMET that you are unsure of, we recommend the following:
  1. Do not provide sensitive data such as login credentials, card information or authentication codes. PAYCOMET will never request this information by email or SMS.
  2. Verify the sender and check that it comes from an official PAYCOMET domain. If the message contains grammatical errors, suspicious links or unusual requests, it could be a fraud attempt.
  3. Do not click on links or download attachments if you are unsure the message is real.
  4. PAYCOMET can’t provide support on behalf of merchants who use our services to accept online payments. If you have any questions regarding a payment, you should contact the merchant where you made the purchase directly.
If you believe you have been a victim of phishing or fraud, we also recommend that you contact your bank for assistance.
